LING 350: ADVANCED LANGUAGE REVITALIZATION (ANISHINAABE, CREE, NAKODA-SIOUX)

LING 350 has two distinct sections intended for language learners to increase speaking and conversation in their mother tongue - Anishinaabe, Cree, Nakada-Sioux. The Mentor-Apprentice (M-A) methodology is the focus for the course where the first 14-hour section is about introducing and orienting students to the methods to become an independent language learner. The orientation to M-A will prepare mentors and apprentices to continue language learning in enhanced learning environments.
