Role
Help us increase the literacy skills throughout the province for all Albertans by joining the ministry of Advanced Education and Technology in this dynamic and exciting role!

This position leads a number of strategic partnerships and initiatives in alignment with the goals and strategies of the Living Literacy Framework. The Manager works closely with public post-secondary institutions, community organizations, First Nations communities and the Métis regions/settlements, and other GOA ministries to support a collaborative and coordinated approach to the delivery of literacy programming and services.

To be successful in this role you will have the ability to:
- work within complex systems to effect positive system changes and achieve alignment of policy and programming objectives.
- The capacity to deliver solutions that respond to real or perceived gaps in the adult learning system.
- An approach of effective project management skills and communication skills.

Qualifications
A related undergraduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of related progressively responsible experience is required. Experience with the adult learning system in Alberta, particularly literacy is required. Experience working with current research, trends, and under-represented populations is considered an asset

Salary
$2,936.39 to $3,951.53 bi-weekly ($76,639.78 to $103,134.93 per annum)
